About Transcendental Layover

Brian the stand-up comedian is at the end of tether. His jokes are not working, so also his life. He has some success early in his career but has fallen on hard times. He has become an alcoholic drug addict who only cares about himself. He is losing his apartment, and his life is spiralling out of control. One night after an open mic, he gets kidnapped. The kidnappers are instructed to hand him over to be killed. In the moments of excruciating pain Brian realizes that all the choices he made in his life had only helped him create more enemies and he had dug his own grave through his reckless actions. Brian escape from the kidnappers and starts searching for his killer. Is it the woman he wronged? Is it family he has let down? Is it a jealous husband from one of his many sexual escapades? The search for the killer becomes an inner journey in which Brian gets clarity about life, relationships, death and love.
